trails trails trails.

coppull trails jam was really quite good. i enjoyed it & took lots of photographs. i've made a temperary album of the photographs which will get deleted in a few weeks. click here for pictures. i've also made the pictures downloadable for you all. that'll be all for now.

manchester regionalllllllllll :]

the manchester regional pictures are now up, a bit later than usual 'cause i've been at cals and only just got back. good regional, half decent weather [in that the sun came out a few times, even if it didn't stay out] trof food smelt niceee, red bull, gazebos and other things made it look good, stals moto sheet board, cals start hill cake, and lots of other things that were good.
for anyone wanting to see the coppull trails jam pics, those will be up by the end of the day, if not in the next hour or so.

we went and had a look at the manchester sx track before gates yesterday, and i thought i'd post some pictures of it, incase people haven't seen it.
i'd like to take pictures of people riding this, so if anyone does get to go and ride it, an invite would be much appreciated :]

sunshine & summertime.

I'm backkkkk! earlier than planned as it pretty much rained the whole time from when we left decoy on monday evening to when we left newquay this morning. bleurghhhh. still i got to play in the sea......twice :] & the first four days of decoy, empire of dirt, burnham nationals, cheddar and decoy [again] were good. there was lots & lots of sunshine. i'll show you some pictures from each shall i? yesss, i'll do that!
oh, the burnham pictures are being uploaded right now, [the elite/jnr thing are in the saturday album with the rest as i couldn't be bothered to seperate them], i did try to upload while i was away but the internet was rubbishhhhhhhhh!

i don't know how i managed to take so many pictures, of such an uneventful regional, but there's 531 in the album that's now posted. we need more riders at north regionals! on the plus side; i think the weather was the most summer like we've had at a summer regional, the sun actually came out a few times, but so did the rain, and it wasn't exactly summer hot! do i rant about the weather too much? everyone come to the next north regional at Manchester, August 10th, you know you want to.

it's raining outside.....again. just like it started to do as soon as we set off for manchester gates last night. luckily it stopped after a while, and i managed to take some piccies, mostly of the rainbow. i thought i'd post a couple from last night, while i sit here and wait for summer to arrive.

thunderstorms in july?

the weather seems to be getting more & more extreme. for a while we had sunny, summer like goldcoast, then we had rainy rainy goldcoast, then more sun, then more rain, then thunder, then it was really hott, and by the time i got home there was a full on thunderstorm happening. crazyyy! the pictures from today are up, and to the right :] i've not really got anything else to say.

last night was the first time i've been to manchester track when it hasn't been blowing a gale and/or raining, which meant i actually had a reason to get my camera out :] and use my 85mm lens, which i really should use more often 'cause it's ace [not that any of you care, or know what i'm on about]. anywayyyyy i've made an album of the pictures i took, incase people want to see themselves, that can be found here. it'll be deleted in a few weeks like so if you want the piccies get them quickk! oo i've used a new album layout for it, let me know what you think of it pleaseee?

the sea & sunsets & racing.

i told you i'd have all the hartlepool pictures posted by midday :] there's two albums; one from saturday & one from sunday!

i think i'll do this by listing notable things of the weekend.
ethans injury - before he even made it on the track. other peoples inuries - two broken wrists & more. clean toilets. the nice security guard who let us in to see the ship by the marina after hours :] people from cornwall making the effort to come up. the sun shining, and the rain holding off. finishing early enough to get home by tea time [even though we didn't] ice cream for afters. 6 in elite. whaaaaa? ace racing to watch, despite the poor turnout. less dust than at the regional. the track being open after practice on saturday.
[i'm bored now so i'll add more when i think of things]

ethan's having his op today, he's got a gashed open chin, & he's broken his fib & tib, and needs a plate & screws. he's fine though, and should be home tomorrow.

this & that

as there was no racing up north this weekend, theres no usual sunday evening post of the photos from the day, so i thought i'd make one with a collection of pictures from manchester tracks first official gates session from the thursday just gone, and some from our track work day on saturday.

summerhill

i think i spent more time cleaning the dust off my lens than i did taking pictures today. after each picture i had to brush the dust off, there was that much of it, it wasn't good at all. i was worried my camera would just pack in. apparently they'll have water for the national to water the track down so it wont be like today. there was quite a poor turnout too, only 7 in paypack, so there wasn't much to take photos off. but i managed to get over 200, which i've posted. i'm hoping quite a few people do decide to do the national so taking photos is a bit more interesting. that's about it.

we're having our first gates session at manchester track on thursday, from half 6ish i think. it'd nice if a few people came down.

today we went to our brand new manchester track to have a ride now it's done & test out the gate etc. it was fair windy so not much jumping of jumps went on, but it was good, and everyone seems to like the track. i even had a go. i thought i'd post a couple of piccys up.

hartlepool regional tomorrow, which should be awesome. especially if the suns out. no doubt i'll be taking lots of photographs, seen as it's one of my favourite picture taking tracks.

32 flavours

i've had a complete change of opinion about chesterfield for picture taking, i now really really like it. the national was ace, the racing was fasssst, the weather was awesome, picture taking was fun, i didn't get a bike to the face whilst taking pictures on't first berm, cal got 4th overall :], ethan didn't crash, the toilets were decent, the sun was outt, i had time to chilax on the saturday, and we were home for tea time, and other good things i've forgotten about. the pictures from saturdays practice are posted, and the practice & racing ones from today should be done in the next hour. i've nothing else to say, other than email me if you'd like prints or cards :].

i can't think of a title right now.

chesterfield is one of my favourite tracks to go to races at, yet i'm not at all keen on it for taking pictures at. i tried to use today to suss out good spots, ready for next week, but ended up getting bored & not bothering. so there aren't very many pictures from today. hopefully i'll be able to do better at the national next weekend, especially if the sun decides to shine. we'll see.

something new.

yesterday we went to check out & have a test ride of our new manchester track [which also resulted in a hospital trip for..........ethan, surprise surprise. he's okay though]. it was very windy & the tracks not quite finished yet, but it's not really far off & it looks much better than the pile of mud it was last time i went. general feedback is that'll it'll be ace when it's finished :] just incase you're interested. here's a couple of piccys of it for those who haven't seen it.

on the theme of new tracks, today was the first race at the new crewe track. it was proper windy an all today & there was a bit of a poor turnout but it was alright still. the pictures are up now, they're mostly from practice though, as there's only so many pictures you can take of the same people, doing the same thing before it gets boring. plus i'm not keen on dull weather pictures either. i don't know what else to write so i'll stop now.

the mansfield pictures are up, in two seperate albums, one for each day. i quite like mansfield for picture taking so there's quite a lot. this weekend was pretty ace, but i can't be bothered to write about it.

i look like a tomato.

the pictures of yesterdays inter regional at mansfield are now posted. ace racing, in the sunshine, with lots of picture taking. i enjoyed it alot, alot alot! i tried to move around and take pictures from different parts of the track, instead of my usual finding somewhere i'm comfortable with and sticking to it, in hope it makes the pictures a bit more interesting. does it?
i'm excited for the national next weekend already; more racing, lots more picture taking, and hopefully lots more loverly sunshine :]

oh yes and cards anyone? if you'd like any making and bringing to mansfield let me know asap so i can get them ready in time.

i haven't been slacking with the uploads, i've not been at home is all, but the preston pictures are now posted. don't get too excited though, the rain doesn't make for excitement in pictures, or excitement in taking them! i can't wait to try out my new camera on a decent day, with sunshine. i'ma shut up now, and leave you with these two pictures from sunday, which happen to be two of few, from the day, that i actually like.

i love cheddar

i really do, it's always fun times at cheddar nationals. nowadays, i'm enjoying the day times much more than the night times at nationals. and the sun came out, it actually did! there was warmth, and shorts & flipflops. did i mention the sunshine? it's a shame it couldn't last until after the finals but still..the sun came out :] i even got sunburnt, yesss :]
i took so many pictures this weekend, more than i've ever taken at a race, ever! which are linked on the right, in the usual place. there are lots of them, 500ish! and i'm quite pleased with how they came out. i enjoyed taking them more than i have in ages! basically, cheddar was awesome :] i even managed to break my cheddar 'drinking too much & spewing up' tradition.
